Thomas Prestwood found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of Sir Charles Matthew Goreing in the parish of Wiston on 21st October 1751: stealing therefrom 3 Portuguese gold coins (each with a value of 36/-), 4 gold Moidores (each with a value of 27/-), 6 gold guineas and 5 gold half guineas, all the property of James Goreing.  He was executed following the lent assizes.
